2 DIMENSIONAL FLIGHT
2 Dimensional flight is movement in 2 axis, the X axis (forward /backward),Y axis (Up / Down). This system would use 2 winches to control the movement of the platform in a set space.

3 DIMENSIONAL FLIGHT

3 Dimensional flight is movement in 3 axis, the X axis (forward /backward),Y axis (Up / Down) and Z axis ( Left/Right). This is the most advanced system using 3 or 4 winches to control the movement of the platform in a set space.

1 DIMENSIONAL FLIGHT
​
1 Dimensional flight is movement in 1 axis, either the X axis (forward /backward), OR the Y axis (Up / Down). This system would use 1 winch to control the movement of the platform in a set space.
